I have been practicing LeetCode and HackerRank for months, but when it comes to real interviews, I get asked questions about system design, project experience, and communication skills.
Great question — a lot of devs overlook this! While DSA is important, most interviews also test your:
Project understanding (why you built something, tech decisions), System design basics (for mid-level roles), Communication and problem-solving under pressure, Behavioral and HR-style questions (yes, they matter!)
I highly recommend trying VivaQuest. It’s not just coding it offers mock interviews for full-stack, backend, frontend roles with a complete experience. You answer coding, design, and behavioral questions, and it gives real-time feedback based on your input.
I did a couple of mocks there before my last round and it helped me practice the “storytelling” side of interviews too.
Worth trying if you want a more complete prep.
