Travel with kids was surprisingly effortless courtesy of KLM Airlines JFK Terminal and their friendly family policy. As soon as we arrived, the check-in personnel were friendly and gave us additional assistance with our stroller and checked baby seat. The family check lane at security was a godsend, which processed everything even quicker and less stressful. The terminal boasted baby-changing rooms and lots of toilets near our gate. KLM provided family boarding early, so we could get settled in with our children without rushing. The flight attendants were wonderful with our kids—providing games, coloring kits, and even checking on us during the flight to ask if we needed anything. The child-friendly meals were a nice gesture, and the in-flight movies kept them busy. Terminal 4 itself was clean and easy to navigate, with enough food options for even picky eaters. From ground to air, the service was consistently thoughtful and geared toward families. KLM turned what is often a stressful process into a pleasant adventure, and we’ll definitely be flying with them again.
