At the Cape Air Office in Albany where exceptional service and the allure of small-scale aircraft collided, my greatest travel experience started. Nestled in the heart of Albany International Airport, the office was less like a busy airline counter and more like a welcoming local travel center. I was traveling to Nantucket, a place I had long dreamed of seeing, and Cape Air made the trip as memorable as the destination. The staff's welcoming grins and sincere excitement immediately put an end to my usual pre-flight anxiety. An experience no large jet could match, the flight, which was conducted on one of their iconic Cessna 402s, provided a stunning aerial perspective of New England's undulating landscapes and glittering beaches.
