Hello! I just flew with Frontier Airlines LAX Terminal and the terminal was just as basic but practical as you would anticipate from a low-cost airline. I had no trouble using a kiosk, and the check-in procedure proceeded swiftly. The waiting area was noisy and crowded, but security was quick. There aren't many food options or charging stations. Although they were obviously handling big crowds, the personnel was helpful. Although Frontier isn't opulent, if you're adaptable, it's worth the cost. You'll be alright if you just arrive prepared. I wouldn't suggest it for first-time visitors, but it's not bad if you know what to expect.
